1. naming convention: date_project_clipnumber.filecontainer
2. users upload assetts always first over dropbox
3. file formats on edit.deptford.tv (only allow those extensions for webupload, for dropbox upload we write onliners): for project .xml file, for video .ogv, for sound .ogg and for picture .jpg
4. when activating mediamover: - transcode everything into ogv on server (users upload original footage into dropbox), scripted that ffmpeg2theora (best to use preset -p padma because this understands when it is widescreen and when not 4:3 320x240 & 16:19 320x180), original footage gets copied either on external drive or seperate folder.
5. storing convention for media files on server - after years into folders? Where are pictures and soundz stored?
6. source material & sorted into years of uploads 2003 / 2005 / 2006 on the hard disk?
7. clean out media mover when files are transfered from drop boxes
8. then user would also have to tag the files on the server over drupal to following tags, how to create the tagging interface on drupal?:

[edit] tagging

1. mediamover can already create the metadata for videos date_projectname_clip-number, filesize , length & format of the clip
2. user taggs metadata online on druap. meaning that we can also change the YEAR field into proper DATE field. metadata can be written then onto files on server with tagtheora (or oggz-comment in oggz-tools)
3. server needs to control that meta data is always annotated - if not give a warning & not publish stuff
4. possibly also to have a trash folder for stuff which is not properly annotated (like after 1 or 2 reminders or simply one or two wks) - users can go and annotate this stuff to take it out of trash
5. make it possible for filmmakers to comment & to rate other clips (have a peer review function for deptford.tv for edits & rough)
6. "forward content to friends" button as email, tagging & search function
7. mapping interface (open street)
8. create trash folder for stuff which is not properly annotated - users can go and annotate this stuff to take it out of trash
9. trash can only be downloaded & published once it is metadata tagged
10. sorting function & tagging clouds, view of RAW should be simlar to itunes displaying:

  * TITLE

  * COMMENT / DESCRIPTION of ASSETT

  * DATE (DAY / MONTH / YEAR)

1. use activearchives.org (pad.ma oxdb) software for searching dtv &

transcribing clips or look at pad.ma timecoded linking of metadata.

1. allow users to comment on each others edit & clips & changes
2. changes are alerted over email and/or atom feed / rss feed
3. check how to clear all my file-download records in edit.deptford.tv if user wants to start all over again
